Women’s Work

review by Liz Benson

I could not put this book down. It was so eloquently written that I felt completely engaged in her story.

Megan covers everything from work, gender, and motherhood, to relationships, domestic roles and help in a global context. As mothers, we constantly negotiate a delicate balance between family, home, work and self. Life is messy.

Quote from the book:

“Men ought to be asked. Everyone ought to be asked. Who’s cooking the food, who’s minding the kids, who’s scrubbing the toilets?

How do you manage to be out in the world, and if you are here, who is there?”
